Optical and magnetic incremental encoders from Ø25 mm to Ø115 mm: solid, blind and through hollow shafts, up to 25,000 PPR, up to IP67.
An incremental encoder produces a fixed number of pulses per shaft revolution, giving the control system speed, direction and relative position. The Italsensor range spans compact Ø25–44 mm models for robotics and small motors to rugged Ø80–115 mm housings for steelworks, cranes and rolling mills.
Optical models offer up to 25,000 PPR and 300 kHz output frequency; the magnetic TTM series has integrated shielding against dust, oil and vibration. Output circuits include NPN, PNP, push-pull and RS-422 line driver; the TDT100 has an integrated tachogenerator and the TGR38 is an electronic handwheel.
