The Coel LIMITEX series are flameproof limit switches designed to control the movement of overhead travelling cranes, hoists and industrial machinery operating in potentially explosive areas. The switch acts as an auxiliary controller of electric motors through a power interface such as a contactor or PLC.
All models have positive-opening NC contacts suitable for safety functions, with a mechanical life of 1 million operations. The range is certified INERIS 13ATEX0020X / IECEx INE 13.0051X for mining (Group I), gas (Zones 1, 2) and dust (Zones 21, 22). Alongside the standard G20 cast-iron enclosure, a full stainless-steel version is available.
