The 380 V low-voltage asynchronous motor family that replaces the former YE3/YE4/YE5 series, offered in three efficiency classes from IE3 to IE5; up to 96.5 % efficiency, IEC and GB compliant.
Low-Voltage AC Motor (IE3 / IE4 / IE5)
The range is designed for 380 V / 50 Hz; 400 V / 480 V and 60 Hz versions are built for export markets. Class F insulation, IP55 protection, inverter speed control in constant-torque and constant-power regions and China Energy Efficiency Labelling are standard.
The efficiency class sets the running cost: IE3 cuts roughly 10 % versus a conventional motor, IE4 removes a further 8 – 12 % of losses, and IE5 reaches up to 96.5 % efficiency for the shortest payback on pumps, fans and compressors that run around the clock. On a 75 kW 2-pole motor, for example, IE4 saves about 5,965 kWh a year over IE3 (8,760 hours at full load).
The terminal box sits on top as standard and can be rotated 180° for horizontal mounting; cable-gland sizes per frame are listed in the table below.
