MV Motor — Squirrel-Cage and Slip-Ring
MV (medium-voltage) motor is the general name for motors designed to run at 1,000 V and above; the exact range varies by standard and application. It is the main drive in industries that need high power: oil and gas, power generation, marine, pulp and paper, cement, mining, metals and water treatment.
MV motors are more efficient than low-voltage motors: for the same power the current is lower, so cable sizes and losses fall. MST Motor's MV motors are designed with advanced analytical tools; customisation, reliability and flexibility set the range apart. The standard frequency is 50 Hz, with 60 Hz built on request.
