Flameproof Squirrel-Cage Motor
Flameproof motors are classified by hazardous zone, equipment group and temperature class: the zone classification defines three zones by the probability and duration of an explosive atmosphere. MST Motor builds Ex d motors for all of these classes.
The squirrel-cage design, including rotor and stator, is made entirely of cast iron; it offers high power density, efficient heat dissipation and low vibration on quality bearings. With no brushes or slip rings, periodic maintenance is minimal.
The manufacturer is ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certified; the motors are built to Chinese national, IEC and European standards. Frame size, voltage and mounting are customised to the application.
