Metal bellows, plastic, rigid-flexible metal and Paguflex PUR couplings connecting the encoder shaft to the drive shaft.
A coupling compensates radial, angular and axial misalignment between the encoder and the drive shaft, protecting the bearings from unnecessary load. Four coupling types are offered, from the zero kinematic error GE metal bellows series to the non-conductive Paguflex.
GE Series Metal Bellows Coupling
Flexible metal bellows coupling for incremental and absolute encoders. Kinematic error: zero. Angular hysteresis: zero. Max radial misalignment: +/-0.2mm. Max angular misalignment: 9 degrees. Max axial misalignment: +/-0.25mm. Max axial play: 1mm. Inertia: ~40 gr/cm2. Max speed: 12,000 rpm. Temperature: -20/+70C. Chemical resistance: excellent. Joints with differentiated inlet/outlet diameter (e.g. 8/10, 9.52/10) available on request.

GP Series Flexible Plastic Coupling

Paguflex flexible joint in non-conductive, anti-acid and oil-resistant PUR polymer. Suitable for mechanical coupling between moving shafts with strong misalignments. Material: anti-corrosion metal fixing bushes, PUR flexible element. Max speed: 3000 rpm. Maximum torque: 100 Ncm. Temperature: -20/+80C.
