Motor protection (aM) fuses withstand the high inrush currents drawn by motors during start-up without nuisance tripping; they provide short-circuit protection while leaving overload protection to the thermal relay.
Available in NH and cylindrical bodies for starters, contactor-relay combinations and motor control centres (MCC).
